Dear All, Having just bought myself a 69 polo red 912, I have lots of questions but here are the most pressing
1. I live in Belgium but originally from Canada, so I will write in english so not to offend your Dutch. I bought the car in the Netherlands, so I have imported it with no problems. Now I have to wait for my technical inspection. This is really to the Belgian members, it had a Dutch APK, but is there anything special I need to get it through the Belgian conformity inspection and the technical inspection ( does it need a fog light?). I have till August 8 as they are very busy in the Antwerp area.
2. My passenger window will only go down 8 cm's, then sticks? But is very smooth from the top to the sticky place, any thoughts?
3. It is hard to start from cold, but when running at idle is nice and stable at 900 rpm. Since I am very new to the car it could just be me not starting it in the right way. What would you consider as normal procedure, at the moment I pump the accelerator pedal couple of times then turn it over with a little bit of pressure on the pedal.
I apologize again for English and will look forward to some of the events!
